Previously commonly bred in the UK but appeared to vanish from sale for a few years. This absolutely stunning flower beetle has a brightly coloured purple and blue body and is very active during the day. 
Breeding is fairly straightforward as they will oviposit in regular flower beetle substrate of oak leaf substrate with a mix of flake soil or white rotten wood.
