A popular and beautiful flower beetle. These beetles are well sized and easy to rear, their pupa are best left alone in the substrate or placed in top, as they prefer it slightly on the damper side.

Larvae can be fed on a mix of leaf mulch, white rotten wood or flake soil. Small amounts of protein supplements can result in larger adults. Large larvae will predate L1 larvae of the same or similar species so individual rearing is recommended in the early stages.
