These gorgeous fruit beetles are very attrative and active during the daytime. They require more specialist care than many fruit beetles with egg laying requiring a very organic, heavily decomposed compost (we use our own 4 year old compost, which ensures a peat and chemical free substrate). Females will lay eggs in a leaf based substrate, but with lower prolificacy.
